Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions about fire safety training, CPR certification, and inspections in New Brunswick.

General Questions

01 What areas do you serve?

I serve all of New Brunswick, with primary coverage in Greater Moncton (Moncton, Dieppe, Riverview), Fredericton, and Saint John. Travel to other NB locations is available.

02 Are your services available in French?

Yes. All training courses, inspections, and documentation are available in both English and French. I deliver bilingual sessions for mixed-language teams.

03 How quickly can you schedule training?

Most training can be scheduled within 2-3 weeks. For urgent needs, I can often accommodate faster timelines. Contact me to discuss your schedule.

04 Do you offer group discounts?

Yes, volume pricing is available for larger teams and multi-session bookings. I also offer package discounts when combining services like CPR training with fire extinguisher training.

CPR & First Aid Training

01 How long is CPR certification valid?

CPR and first aid certifications are valid for 3 years. I track your team's certification dates and send renewal reminders before they expire.

02 What CPR certification standard do you use?

All courses follow the Canadian Red Cross and Heart & Stroke Foundation standards, meeting WorkSafeNB requirements for workplace first aid.

03 How many people can attend one CPR session?

Standard sessions accommodate 8-12 participants for optimal hands-on practice. Larger groups can be split across multiple sessions.

04 Do you bring all the equipment?

Yes. CPR manikins, AED trainers, and all training materials are provided. You just need a room with floor space for practical exercises.

Fire Safety & Inspections

01 How often should fire inspections be done?

Annual inspections are recommended for most commercial buildings. High-risk facilities like healthcare or industrial sites may require more frequent inspections.

02 Does my building need a fire safety plan?

Most commercial, institutional, and multi-unit residential buildings in New Brunswick are required to have a fire safety plan under the NB Fire Prevention Act.

03 What's the difference between your inspection and a fire marshal inspection?

My inspections are proactive and advisory. They help you identify and fix issues before an official fire marshal inspection, reducing the chance of violations.

04 Do you provide fire extinguisher servicing?

I provide fire extinguisher training and inspection during audits. For recharging and servicing, I can recommend certified fire protection companies.
